The role would teach the candidate the basics of public relations interaction with the media, how to write a press release, how to use PR tools such as mailchimp etc. and learn the processes of how to gain media attention for bands and brands.
Reporting to the Public Relations Manager, you will assist in the delivery of PR campaigns to clients within the arts and entertainment sector. The job role including:
Day to Day Responsibilities:
Desired skills – Must have a basic understanding of how to use a computer plus be confident both with the written and spoken word.
Personal qualities – Must have an interest in music and the media plus social networking, be organised and understand time keeping plus how to interact with colleagues in a friendly and personable manner.
Desired qualifications – Up to A level standard, or equivalent, and beyond.
Future prospects – Possible full time position as a PR within the agency.
Working week: Monday – Friday, 9.30am – 5.30pm
Total hours per week: 40.00
