When it comes to Jazz icons the Quite Great PR team have to highlight, Madeleine Peyroux, famed for her stylistic song writing and stunning Nina Simone-esque vocals. While working with an artist of the stature of Madeleine, we knew we had to look at both the biggest Jazz areas but also look at wider media to gain her the mainstream coverage she deserved as it is always vital for us to look beyond the music and target every part of an artist that links into their music. So whilst it goes without saying that Madeleine got a Jazz FM playlist straight off the bat, securing radio play across every show on a daily basis. Leading to her being offered not only a spot at Jazz FM’s 30th birthday gala but also saw her being nominated for a prestigious Jazz FM award! We just loved that!

Having also gained significant support from London Jazz Radio, Soho Radio and many other Jazz Radio stations and naturally coverage across Jazz print media including Jazzwise and London Jazz News it was so good to get support from the amazing Jamie Cullum on BBC Radio 2. Then looking outside the Jazz media, we also gained Madeleine coverage in the all important The Daily Mail Femail section, which as you may know is so important and tough to get, so we were so happy to get their support. The Mail story was really effective in gaining her broader widespread coverage helping us to pick up by a number of other publications including Happiful Magazine which we just love and the flag ship taste making , awareness builder Sky News.
