With many beaches now opening up in October if you are lucky enough to live by the seaside you will no doubt be aware that now is the time you can return to the beach for those bracing winter dog walks. Many people have been asking for the 5 month beach ban to be shortened and this has become quite a news talking point
However Yellow Dog does appreciate that although walking along one of the UK’s beautiful beaches is no doubt wonderful, it can also be quite stressful for us dog owners as we anticipate another excited dog bouncing up to our Yellow Dog, who may not be quite so excited to meet another dog.
This is a time when it is so important and useful to have your Yellow Dog leads or vests so that other dog owners can see you from a distance and hopefully respectfully control their dogs so that you too can have an enjoyable experience on the beach with your dog.
At Yellow Dog we have a great selection of items to help you on such occasions, from great double handle dog leads for excellent control to dog vests and even a tabard or sash for yourself.
On a beach the Yellow Dog Biothane 5 metre training lead is a great option, so your dog can have some fun and freedom but still enables you to reign them in if you need to. Some people may think these items are not needed but from our many years of experience we have seen how important and useful they can be for everyone.
Do enjoy your fun on the beach and we hope that our Yellow Dog shop and advice can help you and your dog have the best time
