The importance of any tour pr whether it be in the UK or Ireland and whether it be classical music stars like G4 or indie bands , is communication. Working with the G4 on the Iirsh leg of their 20TH Anniversary Tour was a joy and gained great results across local Irish media from online to print and broadcast. The high points were most certainly the likes of The Six O’Clock Show, The Sunday World , The Irish World plus The Irish News plus a wide range of local newspapers highlighting the guys Irish Tour dates. With the huge success of G4 over the years from Talent Show heroes to multi platinum selling artists they were only too happy to do interviews and feed back on any angles to broaden the pr impact as well as the key to any relationship between artist and agency – rapid response to media requests
This final point may seem an odd one as some would expect that rapid replies to media requests would be a given , but when on tour there are so many day to day issues that spring up which may take an artists’ focus away from alerting the general public to concerts hence on occasions this may impact on Tour Promotion . we all enjoyed working with the guys so much and wish them all the best for the future.
