Book PR and Author Marketing Agency
Quite Great, the Book PR agency was formed in 1996. Our team of experienced PR experts have been proud to work with a variety of talented authors. Writers covering a multitude of different genres from fiction & music to art & health. The scope of authors we have worked with expands far and wide. To this end, this is why we are confident that whatever genre of writer you are, Quite Great can help you promote your book. All across a wide range of media and our trusted media outlets. In short, helping to raise your profile as an author and creating awareness for your book. Similarly, helping all authors engage readers and to help increase sales.
Our range of books have been varied and exciting. Early projects included the music biography written by Paul Gallagher – It documents the life of his two siblings – Liam and Noel. In addition, this entailed all key broadcast interviews through to print media plus coordinating an extensive UK ‘signing’ tour. Others included the amazing steampunk meticulously crafted book by Gary Nicholls, a British photographic conceptual artist. Gary’s conceptualised neo-gothic fairy story was eponymously based on the Victorian fairground attractions of The Imaginarium.
Focused Book PR campaigns
Other awesome books included Stevie Wonder’s biography and Macmillan’s Encyclopaedia of Popular Music. Plus, the Virgin Illustrated History of Rock and How to De-Clutter Your Life. Our variety of clients is exciting and original from a Steampunk tale of intrigue and mystery to a fitness health and wellness book! Our team is passionate about achieving results for our clients and making sure our extensive media contacts are fully maximised. We aim to achieve focused media interaction that will help drive sales and raise your profile as an author. The QG team promote your books with our professional unique PR campaigns across all media outlets.

What do authors do on a book tour?
I guess the first question is – how do I organise a book tour? The organising of book tours can take the form of ‘meet and greet’ signing sessions through to Q&A interview experiences. The most important thing is to make these noteworthy so the crowds follow and get involved.
How do you launch a book?
Clearly, with the growth of e-books, kindles and such, the dynamic of creating media awareness for books has adapted and changed. But in fact, for the Quite Great team, this has meant an even closer allegiance to the work we have done for musicians. Nowadays, a book launch takes the shape of what has always felt like the launch of a musician’s new release! Resulting in an online centre of activity that just cannot be ignored.
