Falling Rocket UK book PR
Quite Great UK Book PR are proud to be involved in the Book Promotion for the historical art court case novel FALLING ROCKET about the Battle for Modern Art between the legendary United States artist James Whistler and the renowned art critic John Ruskin, by PAUL THOMAS MURPHY.
As The New York Times Book Review outlined “The painting that so inspired Ruskin’s ire supposedly conjured a fireworks display, though as the darkest and moodiest of Whistler’s ‘nocturnes’ it was as close to pure abstraction as art had yet ventured. The art world was agog. The avant-garde minimalism of Whistler’s work would eventually find its time, yet the gloomy Ruskin was the most unexpectedly prescient. An entirely enjoyable read.”
The aim of Book PR and the work Quite Great do for their clients is to focus on the most appropriate and intriguing aspects of any book to highlight what it is that will drive media interest. To this end, whether in the UK or as in Paul Thomas Murphy’s case, an author based in the USA – we help book publishers with PR and Promotion. We also work with authors who are just finding their feet and looking to have a Book PR Team behind them. A Book PR team who will think laterally and help with direct outreach to broadcast, print and online media.
